Abstract
Technological innovation has consistently reshaped society, revolutionizing how we live, work, and create. Consider the digitization of books and newspapers: it greatly increased accessibility and efficiency but also led to a decline in the printing industry.1 Similarly, VCRs allowed viewers to watch television at any time yet simultaneously threatened the market for reruns, potentially leading to lower TV ratings and revenue.2 These examples illustrate a recurring tension: new technologies bring societal benefits while potentially disrupting established industries.
